There is no monthly plan for moving 44 tonnes across a continent — the price depends on the lane, not on a tier. What we can publish is how we price, what changes the number, and where each commercial model stops making sense. Costed answer within two working hours.

What people ask before signing
01Why are there no fixed prices on this page?
Because a freight price that ignores the lane would be dishonest. The same 600 km costs differently depending on congestion on the corridor, the receiving hours at the delivery site, whether the round trip fits one driver’s legal hours, and whether we can reload on the way back. The figures above are the indicative starting points we actually quote from.
02What do you need from me to produce a quote?
An origin, a destination, a volume or pallet count, the equipment type if it matters, and the receiving hours at the delivery site. That last one changes the price more often than people expect. With those five things we answer within two working hours.
03What actually moves the price up or down?
Return load availability first — an empty leg is the single biggest cost in road freight. Then congestion on the corridor, the receiving window, equipment type, and whether the lane can run at night. Volume matters less than regularity: a predictable weekly lane prices better than a larger irregular one.
04How is fuel handled?
On spot movements the fuel cost is inside the quoted price. On contracted lanes we agree an indexation formula at signature, tied to a published index, and apply it going forward. We never apply an index retroactively to movements already delivered.
05Can I cancel or change a booked movement?
Free until the vehicle is assigned, which is usually the evening before collection. After assignment a cancellation charge covers the driver hours and the positioning already committed. Contracted lanes have their own notice period, set in the agreement.
06What insurance covers my freight?
Standard CMR liability applies to every movement. Where the load value exceeds the CMR ceiling, we arrange ad valorem cover on request and quote it as a separate line rather than burying it in the rate.
07Is there a minimum volume?
Not for spot. A contracted lane needs enough regularity to justify reserving capacity — in practice about two movements a week on the same corridor. Below that, spot is cheaper for you and we will say so.
08Do you subcontract?
On our own corridors, no. On lanes outside our network we work with a fixed panel of hauliers audited on the same maintenance and insurance criteria as our own fleet, and we tell you which movements are concerned before you book.
